WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd Macdonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga.
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 200th open public meeting on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
The Commission will be presented with a quarterly report from MGM Springfield. Researchers from the UMass Donahue Institute will present commissioners with findings from an in-depth study conducted on the construction of Plainridge Park Casino and its impact on spending, employment and the economy.
The Commission is expected to vote on several administrative matters related to horse racing. Commissioners are also expected to vote on amendments to regulation 205 CMR 134.00 Licensing and Registration of Employees, Vendors, Junket Enterprises and Representatives, and Labor Organizations. In addition, the Commission will vote on Amended Small Business Impact Statement 205 CMR 6.00- Pari-Mutuel Rules for Thoroughbred Racing, Harness Racing (Pentafecta Pool).
