The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is seeking public comment on the draft regulation amendments below pertaining to credit card cash advances in gaming establishments. These amendments create a requirement for gaming licensees to implement reasonable measures to inhibit patrons from using credit to obtain cash for use at a gaming establishment. Three such measures are explicitly mandated by the amendments. Additionally, these amendments clarify the language of the regulation to address the uncertainty as to the meaning of “cash advance.”
