WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner James McHugh, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold its 149th open public meeting on Thursday, April 16th.
The Commission will begin the meeting discussing matters related to the upcoming opening of Plainridge Park Casino. The Commission will review and consider for approval the gaming floor plan. Commissioners will also receive status updates on temporary licenses and Penn National’s operations plan.
Commissioners will discuss a series of racing-related matters. Topics will include the distribution of funds from the Capital Fund and Local Aid. Commissioners are expected to vote on Plainridge Racecourse Key Operations Personnel and Racing Officials.
Ombudsman John Ziemba will provide commissioners a general update and a Region C update.
Lastly, commissioners will discuss several draft regulations to include Internal Controls, Protection of Minors and Alcohol Sales.
