Meeting Notification: MassGaming to hold public meeting on 2/5, TOPICS: WynnEverett, the Community Mitigation Fund and Region C

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner James McHugh, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold its 144th open public meeting on Thursday, February 5th.
The Commission will receive an update on the status of Wynn Everett’s Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR). Wynn Everett is also expected to present a draft diversity report.
Also, the Commission will discuss requests received and the process moving forward for government agencies and municipalities seeking monies from the Community Mitigation Fund.
The Commission will also discuss draft regulations pertaining to the Alcohol and Beverage Control Commission, the protection of minors, gross gaming revenue and financial reporting.
Lastly, the Commission will discuss the recent RFA-1 application deadline for Region C (Southeastern Massachusetts), as well as the extension requests received from several entities interested in pursuing the Region C resort-casino license.
