APPLICATION DEADLINE TODAY AT 5:00pm: MassGaming releases guidelines and application materials for 2017 Community Mitigation Fund Program

As part of the effort to help offset impacts that may result from the development and operation of gaming facilities in the Commonwealth, the Massachusetts Legislature created the Community Mitigation Fund as part of the Expanded Gaming Act. After considering thoughtful recommendations from the general public and from gaming advisory committees created under the Act, the Commission approved Guidelines for the 2017 Community Mitigation Fund Program early in December.
Pursuant to the Act, applications for funds are annually due in the beginning of February [February 1, 2017]. To learn more about the fund and this year’s Guidelines, please visit the 2017 Community Mitigation Fund page.
