On November 8th, 2017 from the hours of 9am-4pm. Young Urban Engineering Entrepreneurship Academy (YUEEA) Association of Black Business and Professionals (ABBP) Community Partner Network (CPN) will hold 2nd Annual Work Readiness Workshop. This day is design to prepare the targeted audience of minorities, women and veterans, who are seeking employment in upcoming available positions in hospitality and gaming fields. Hosted by Wanda Gispert, PHR Vice President, Talent & Workforce Development for MGM. These great agencies shall provide a series of workshops hosted by community agencies to provide insight on proper protocol when seeking employment. The skills we shall teach, are the jobs expectations that companies look for when hiring. From mock interviews, information sessions of what schools offer hospitality and gaming field’s training, resume writing advice, business interview attire,to Linked In profile set up along with professional head shots the applicants will leave with a host of solid information and instructions to sustain employment in the hospitality and gaming fields.
