WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #430 on Friday, January 27, 2023.
After the meeting is called to order, Executive Director Karen Wells will lead an Administrative Update.
Following that, the Commission will discuss Sports Wagering Implementation, before the Legal Division heads the subsequent segment of the meeting.
During the Legal Division’s portion of the meeting, the Commission will hold a discussion regarding M.G.L. c. 23N, § 23: Determination of whether winners of cash prizes owe past-due child support or tax liability to the Commonwealth and the duties of the operator(s).
Commissioner Updates are set to follow, rounding out the meeting.
There is time allowed at the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting. The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
