Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on September 27, 2018

WHO:                   Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Eileen O’Brien, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins, and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga  

WHAT:                The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 252nd open public meeting on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

The public meeting will begin with a general administrative update from Executive Director Ed Bedrosian. Ombudsman John Ziemba will request a Commission vote on a 2017 Mitigation Fund Transportation Planning Grant for the City of Lynn.

The Commission will then receive a presentation on the evaluation of MGC’s Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program; the evaluation was conducted by researchers from the Cambridge Health Alliance/Division on Addiction.

The Northeast Center for Tradeswomen’s Equity will provide a status update on the MGC-sponsored ‘Build A Life That Works’ campaign and tradeswomen recruitment initiative.

Lastly, the Legal Division will lead a Commission discussion on several matters including a request from Mass Gaming & Entertainment to reconsider its bid for Region C (Southeastern Mass), a request from Encore Boston Harbor for a Non-Disclosure Agreement, and the logistical planning for the Wynn Resorts Hearing Process.
