Wynn Boston Harbor and Suffolk Construction are looking for food service providers to service up to 2000+ construction workers at the Wynn Boston Harbor construction site in Everett, Massachusetts. There will be multiple locations with numerous vendor opportunities. Mobile food operations are non-permanent service stations or vehicles from which food and drink (prepared on-site or pre-packaged) is sold or served to the general public, whether consumed on-site or elsewhere.

The below information has been provided by Suffolk Construction.

License requirements:
  • Commonwealth of Massachusetts: All ,obile food operations shall comply with the requirements of 105 CMR 590.000 – State Sanitary Code Chapter X: Minimum Sanitation Standards for Food Establishments.
  • City of Everett: All mobile food operations shall comply with the guidelines established by the City of Everett, Massachusetts.
Insurance:
  • Mobile Truck/Vehicle: Must maintain a current State Inspection
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance
Site Approval:
  • In order to vend on Wynn property, a letter of request must be submitted and approved.
Safety and Orientation Training: This is a very expansive and active construction site. Typically, food vendors park outside the security fencing. However, on this site vendors may be given permission to enter the security perimeter for workers’ convenience. Anyone accessing the site regularly will be required to attend a 4 hour safety and badging orientation.
Agreement: Wynn would like to provide as much predictability to the food service providers as possible. Their intention would be to have the same providers on-site for the duration of the 3-year project. However, to ensure product quality and safety, we may establish a 6-month agreement which will allow both parties to revisit the service that is being provided.
Commitment Plan:
The goal is to provide a safe and good experience for both your company and the customers. Therefore they are requesting that vendors submit a Commitment Plan. Some suggestions to include in this submission are:
  • Listing of the food services and type of food that you will be providing
  • Listing of proposed pricing for your products.
  • List of the number of people you can serve per day
  • There will be approximately 2000+ to accommodate (see Labor projections Appendix). Do you have the ability to serve two shifts and on weekends?
  • Submit the design of the vending vehicle (size and a picture)
  • What are some key thoughts on how you can provide quality and food efficiently?
  • Do you have a plan to replenish and have prepared food?
  • Amount of space you will need to effectively and safely operate your food service
