  • For each available license, each applicant, as well as their qualifiers, underwent extensive background investigations prior to RFA-2 submission to ensure compliance with high standards for good character, honesty, integrity and financial suitability
  • The evaluation process for the Region C license followed the same structure as that for the previous license determinations; that process is outlined here

Category 1 RFA-2 Applications

Please note that on December 19, 2013, the Commission granted Mohegan Sun a waiver on the required submission of the election certification with the final application. The City of Revere held a host community election in February 2014.

It is the policy of the Commission that applicant materials pertaining to the successful applicant for the Category 1 license be removed from the Commission website one year after the award of the Category 1 gaming establishment license. Additionally, applicant materials pertaining to unsuccessful applicants for the Category 1 gaming establishment license be removed from the Commission website upon the award of the Category 1 gaming establishment license. These materials will be retained for the period specified in the Commission’s record retention policy and, during that period, be archived and available upon request.
