On Monday, Feb 3, 2014 the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) joined with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to present a half day expo to unite casino developers with sustainable and clean energy technology providers.  The Expo’s twin goal was to help familiarize gaming facility applicants with Massachusetts based clean energy technologies and help technology providers better understand the deployment opportunities in new casino facilities as well as to promote Massachusetts companies as potential vendors to future casino licensees.

The Expo attracted close to 40 clean energy companies offering a range of products and services from the latest innovations to established technologies.  Businesses in the building energy performance, efficiency, and on-site renewable energy production areas  pitched their sustainable products and clean energy technology to representatives from each casino applicant’s site design team including construction, architects, and civil engineers.
