VIDEO: Commission votes unanimously to allow Mohegan Sun/Suffolk Downs Revere-only proposal to proceed with conditions

On December 10, 2013, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted 5-0 to allow the Mohegan Sun/Suffolk Downs Revere-only proposal to proceed with the submission of a final resort-casino application on December 31 with the condition that the applicant seek and receive a waiver from the Commission that requires a vote certification as part of the final application. This would also require the applicant to request a new host community vote from the city of Revere. The applicant will need to request the waiver from the Commission within 7 days.
