A Request for Public Comment: Draft regulation amendments pertaining to Gaming Day, Unsecured Wagers, and Unclaimed Cash

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (“Commission”) requests comment on the draft proposal below. The proposal contains amendments to existing regulations governing the establishment of a ‘gaming day’ and the process by which ‘unsecured funds’ are handled as well as related financial reconciliation mechanisms. A public hearing will be convened in the future relative to this proposal. Until that time, informal written comments are welcome.
Anybody wishing to offer comment on any of the draft amendments may submit written comments by sending an email to mgccomments@state.ma.us with ‘draft regulations comment’ in the subject line. Please be certain to identify in your comments the section number of the regulation for which you are commenting. Comments must be received by 4:00pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
