In response to the Commission’s request for a review, the AGO recently provided a thoughtful and instructive analysis of MGC’s compliance with the Open Meeting Law. The AGO noted MGC’s significant and successful efforts in adhering to the law and also offered constructive feedback on how to more effectively apply the law to the Commission’s unique working conditions.

As part of that review, it was recommended that the Commission take part in a training session provided by the AGO. MGC scheduled the training session and will host a public meeting and live stream to benefit all MGC staff and other interested constituents.
