Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on 6/8, TOPICS: Research Update, MGC Budget, Workforce Development and Racing

WHO:               Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Stephen Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd MacDonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga

WHAT:              The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 218th open public meeting on THURSDAY, June 8, 2017.  The Commission will continue an ongoing discussion and review about Gaming Service Employee Registration.

MGC’s Director of Research and Responsible Gaming Mark Vander Linden will introduce presentations from contract awardees regarding an upcoming special population study.

Commissioners will review the fiscal year 2018 budget. The Commission will also discuss the Economic Development Fund.

The Legal Division will seek votes on a series of regulations. The Racing Division will introduce several requests from Suffolk Downs that will require Commission votes. For a complete list of agenda items and anticipated votes, view the official Meeting Notification and Agenda.
