Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on 6/22, TOPICS: Gaming Service Employee Registration, Regional Self-Exclusion List, Gaming Schools and the Community Mitigation Fund

 

 WHO:               Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Stephen Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd MacDonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga

WHAT:              The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 220th open public meeting on THURSDAY, June 22, 2017.

The Commission is expected to vote on matters related to Gaming Service Employee Registration.

MGC’s Director of Research and Responsible Gaming Mark Vander Linden will present a status update about an initiative to develop a regional Self-Exclusion List program. The Licensing Division will brief the commission about Bristol Community College and its efforts to establish a gaming school.

The commission is expected to vote on the MGC Fiscal Year 2018 budget. It is also anticipated that the commission will vote on a series of small business impact statements and amended small business impact statements.

Lastly, the commission will review and is expected to vote on Community Mitigation Fund applications.
