MassGaming to host ‘Public Hearing’ 12/13/13 on proposed regulations regarding licensing for gaming employees and vendors

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner James McHugh, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga and members of the public

WHAT: MassGaming will hear public comments regarding a set of new and updated draft regulations. The proposed regulations cover the licensing and registration of key gaming employees, gaming employees, gaming vendors, and the registration of gaming service employees, non-gaming vendors, and labor organizations. Members of the public are encouraged to submit their written comments via email prior to the meeting for the Commission’s review. These draft regulations were approved by the Commission on November 7, 2013 and are available here.

WHERE: Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Room 152, 415 Summer Street, Boston, MA

WHEN: FRIDAY, December 13th, 2013, at 9:30am

GUIDELINES:     Prior to the public hearing, the Commission welcomes written comment on the draft regulations. Those wishing to comment on the draft regulations may do so by sending an sending an email to mgccomments@state.ma.us with ‘Draft regulations comment’ in the subject line. Comments must be submitted no later than Monday, December 9th at 5:00 pm. The Commission respectfully requests that comments include the section number of the regulation being referred to. All comments received via email will be distributed to the Commissioners for their review.

Members of the public who wish to address the Commission at this hearing should send an email to the above address with ‘Request to address the Commission’ in the subject line.  In the body of the email, the Commission respectfully requests that you include your town of residence.

In order to use the available time most efficiently, the Commission reserves the right to limit the amount of time for speakers depending on attendance at the hearing.
