The recently proposed design changes by MGM Springfield are significant and they will be closely reviewed by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. Our first priority will be to be deferential to the reaction of the Host Community to these proposals, as mandated by statute, and has been our custom throughout this process. We will then review these changes in the light of the Commission’s own mandate, regulations and aspirations for expanded gaming in the Commonwealth.
